Some of you may remember me.
I'm about ready to buy another Vette and thought I would check in with the old forum.
I didn't see many of the old crew at first glance.
I'm sure there are still a bunch of ya around.

I am thinking about a C5 at this point, but still have a soft spot for the C4.

Just saying hi.
Hey man.

Yo! Whaddup? I'm still here and 10k deeper into my C4. Good news is it'll run circles around a C5 now!

P.S. Buying a C5 straight up might have been cheaper though. For sure less time consuming AND easier to sit in. I'm actually kinda nervous about redoing my seats. It's hard to figure out how to make them look like new but "sit" as low as they are now!

Another one here. I bought a C5 last year, but the planned sale of my C4 has been put on indefinite hold. If you just want a car to drive, get a C5. If you want a consuming hobby, well you know what to do....

Snuck in under the 2 year mark.

It seems I recall when you bought a Jeep, or at least I recall someone doing it.

I went to dark side but the guys let me hang out here some. I'll try to do my write up of comparing the C4 to the C5 I promised a few guys. Maybe it'll give you some more information to go by. I also have a ton of C5 information, a C5 owner sent me. Lots of good info.

The only C5 I personally would want is a FRC or Z06. I love the styling of them and couldn't care less about a removable top. But that's just me.

I took off the fake Z06 airducts, and I still haven't taken my own pictures, but here's what I bought back in January.

Good luck (and yes, I've already spent at least 500 bucks on cool stuff)

Don't do that. A 96 is the most refined of the c4.

Keep the c4 if funds allow

So true...

If you don't have a garage, tools, and time/desire to work on it, then c5 may be better for that kind of buyer.

Welcome back.
Buy a C4.
The most innovative and talented guys are on C4 I think.

I convinced a friend to buy a C4.
Hes buying his 1st Vette.
1984,Black, clean, and its a California car.
He is a long time Pontiac gearhead like me.
Nothing like driving and owning a good running C4 he found out too.

Hes 6foot 4inches tall.
He fits into my 87 vert ok. and the 1984.

If you have to go newer, my choice would be a C6, like a 2005.

I don't want to change anyone's plans but I have both a '95 C4 and an 03 C5. At 295 and 6'3" there's not much difference. I love them both though.
