Before and After Pictures
During the Blizzard of 2010 I put my Corvette in the paint shop and had a few things done. I had the "CORVETTE" shaved off the back, removed the 3rd brake light had the holes filled and painted. Satin high heat painted the exhaust tips and mufflers I like everything except I don't know what to think about the "corvette" missing off the back seems to look kind of blank It is still a HUGE improvement over when I got itAnyway lets hear what ya think

It looks great! I'm not usually a fan of shaving emblems off, and I don't think I've ever seen it done on a C4, but it looks very clean. I like the rims and exhaust tips too. Go very well with the belt line molding. You've got a nice looking car.

I like it!!!
Without the emblem, it sort of looks like a C6 back-end.
The wheels and exhaust tips look killer, too. New mufflers?
If you think it's too plain in the back, you can always add a satin black GS stripe to it.

I like the tinted windows too. That was one of the first things i did when i got my vette, you'll be surprised how it will save the interior over time.
The rear looks kind of plain without the Corvette emblem, JMHO, but as long as you like it that's all that really matters. Good job!!

Great color! Rims with the subtle body color pin stripe are off the charts!
re no rear badge, I think the dark color helps make the badge "not required", besides only a moron would ask "what kind of car is that"

Very nice looking ride I too like the black rims with the pinstripe on them. Question though...are third brake lights required in some/all states if they were a factory item...or is that just an added safety feature the automakers came up with?

3rd brake light requirement didn't show up till 1986... I assume the subject of this thread is an 84 or 85.
