I was driving down an access road after making a few turns earlier when I heard a continuous bing... bing.. bing... I thought it was in the song on the radio so I turned it down... apparently, I had left my turn signal on for the last mile or so and my car was prompting me to trun it off!!!! I HAD NO IDEA IT DID THIS! How about that!!!!!

I tried it in my '92 and it didn't work. I have yet to try it on the '93 or '94. I read it in the manual. Yes I do read...yes I do read instructions...sometimes.

I had an '88 Olds that did that, I don't know if my Corvette does or not. I'll find out today. :D I am sure other drivers will understand my turn signal is on in the name of science.

I found this out over 7 years ago when I first got my car. The turn signal didn't turn off and I kept hearing this "bling" sound. I was asking myself, "What the hell is that" until I looked down and saw that the blinker was on. So...yes it also works on the '92 model.

Happens after the signal has been on for 5 minutes or something like that. I found out by, and have had the pleasure of reconfirming the same way often, by waiting to turn at an intersection with a police officer directing traffic. One time I had to wait 30 minutes before I moved. :cuss :mad

well, just tested it out at lunch. It works. Even though if I can't hear the ticking from the turn signal breaker, there is no way that I would hear the warning ding.

I thought I read WAY back in 92 or 93 in corvette fever about the warning system it kicks in after 5 mins or about 1 mile, they were doing a revue on the NEW vette and they had a chance to take one of twenty for a drive I remeber the comment about it being funny seeing 20 NEW vettes driving along the hi-way all with there right turn signals on.
How is it I can remeber reading that from 10 years ago, yet i cant remeber what I had for dinner last night???? i gota get a vette soon this is killing me.
