While in England I found a EXperimental C4
Two weeks ago I was in England UK. I spotted a 1988 C4 prototype test mule for sale. its vin# EX4607 Was told it was built in 1986 as a 88 model to test new features. Was in good condition. For sale 29,995 [pounds] at a place called Claremont Corvette centre in Kent,England. the website is www.corvette.co.uk The car was a burgundy color with 66,300 miles on it. In the states it would of been crushed, but survived over there.

You might ask about this car over in the C4 ZR1 Discussion section. Or send a PM to forum member "Vette Daddy". He is very knowledgeable on the C4's that were used in England for testing. Read this thread and look at posts #20 and #30.

Brits love the Corvette. While I was over there I joined the UK Corvette Club and the annual meeting was held at a castle in southern England. Over 700 Vettes showed up. Every year, every color you can imagine.
In fact, there were quite a few American car shows while I was there and everything you can think of from Edsels to Fiero's, from Camero's to Cadillac Hurst's. American cars were a big deal to anyone that could afford them and apparently there were a lot that could.
