94 corvette.. No reverse lights??

I heard there is a switch connected to the trans?? Anyone have some ideas.. I really dont want to spend lots of money on this but it would be nice to have some lights backing up..

Auto or manual would help given the switch is in a different position on each?
ESP not working too good at present
