I just noticed that my front speakers are working. I look for loose wires and all but cannot find anything. It is a 88 c-4. I did not do any work on the system for them to stop working. I still have the original set up.

vibration can cause the clips to pop loose. wires are more than likeky loose on the harness

if both front speakers arent working, then it is most likely the middle connector on the head unit came off or is broken..

I had it happen to me this weekend when installing an aftermarket stereo on my 87, the connector popped off when i was installing it.

pull the stereo out and look check the connectors there
