Will be 36 years for me this December.
I have always had just about any "toy" I wanted and knew I could reasonably afford.

Had one too. A 2000 SS. Needed the back seats when the kids were small.
I loved the car! (But that was before my first Vette, so then there was in my head always the Vette itch. But today I wouldn't mind having it back. Also...). And I loved the LS1 engine.
Best of luck with your Camaro!

I fly out Thursday morning around 9am and arrive in St. Louis around 10 am. Then I wil drive the car home which is around a 5 1/2 to 6 hour drive.
So to make a long story short I don’t even have the car yet. Anyway, I get a phone call from the dealership yesterday and it’s the owner David. I have been dealing with a salesman Joe. It struck me kind of odd that the owner would be calling me. He asks me if I would like to make $1000.00 dollars on the car. I said, "What do you mean"? He said, "I will give you your deposit back and a 1K dollars not to buy the car". I could not believe what I was hearing. I called my wife and talked to her about it, she didn’t care either way. I called him back and told him that i already have insurance on the car and a plane ticket so i would be coming to get the car. He said, "Is there anything else I can do, some more money"? I was dumfounded and told him I was coming to get it. He said, " See you Thursday". He did end up telling me that the salesman, Joe put the BUY IT NOW price on the car while he was out of town last week. I thought it was a very good price especially coming from a dealer; I am paying $14,900.00 for the car. I have seen a lot of this guys cars for sale and he is usually pretty high on his prices so it sounds like somebody screwed up, or there is someone else that offering more money for the car. Pretty crazy...

I live close to Fast Lane Cars. They have many really nice cars, but at a premium price. Sounds like you got a great deal!!
Too bad I'm working Thurs or I would meet up with you and check out the new ride.

Cool car, love the Hugger Orange. I'm more of a Trans Am guy myself, but a Hugger Orange SS Camaro would definitely be something I'd buy. I've come close many times to buying an F-body, but it's never happened yet. I was ready to buy a 79 Formula with t-tops last month, but the owner decided he wanted to keep it. There also was a 89 Iroc convertible for sale, but it sold right after the ad was posted.
