Fire has to be the worse thing to happen to stuff. Not only is everything you cared about completely gone, but then there is that horrible smell and all that nasty stuff to clean up.

I would think he would have had at least home owners insurance, that might have covered some of the loss. The cars are gone for good though, that's unfortunate. Who knows what his situation was.

If you have the money for 9 Corvettes and do not have insurance. WTF? Dumb, and sad. I feel bad for history and for the cars than I do the guy who owned them. Why no insurance??? Won't bring the cars back but at least you would get the money to save other Corvettes. Tragic.

Makes me glad I always turn all the circuit breakers off at the box in my shop when I am done working. And battery disconnects on the cars. Dont have one on the C4 yet, maybe tomorrow.....
