On a related note, where did "polo" green come from? GM calls it "medium green metallic" and since they make the car they ought to have naming rights. Anyway, I didn't know that many 'Vette owners played polo. I always considered it more of an Aston-Martin, Rolls-Royce or Bentley kind of sport.

The only color I try to avoid in cars or motorcycles is blue, particularly that electric blue -- probably what Chevy calls admiral blue. My wife and I call it "loss-leader" blue because of something we learned when we were buying our new Maxima. We went to the local Nissan dealership and announced that we wanted to buy the "one at this price" special in their newspaper ad. The salesman pointed to a car on the lot -- a blue one -- and said, "It's probably that one, but I'll go check." When he came back we were relieved to find out that the one advertised for that day's sale price was beige, which we wanted anyway. But when I asked him why he thought it was the blue one he said that their advertised loss-leaders were normally blue because that color is not in demand -- i.e., doesn't sell very well -- and they try to get them off the lot with special offers.
So from that time on we have called that color "loss-leader blue." I actually painted my Suzuki motorcycle in orange and black tiger stripes to cover up that very blue. The bike was -- you guessed it -- REALLY cheap.
No offense to blue lovers everywhere. Anyway, you probably got a good deal.
BTW, mine is green but if I had my druthers it'd be yellow.

Anything exotic! My list would be
1.)Torch Red My Favorite of course!!!!
2.)Jet-stream Blue
3.) Victory Yellow
I feel that silver, white, black, etc is too normal and blends in. Of course Vettes look great in all colors but I think a Vette should stick out!
