stupidest thing ever said about your vette?
What's the stupidest thing anyone ever said about eitther corvettes in general or your corvette specifically?
Mine, when I first got the '85 and lived in Chicago:
"wow, you fit $25 worth of gas into that little car?"

1.)My sig pic below is on my work computer as wallpaper(obviously much bigger). Someone walked by my desk and asked "Is that an SL?"
2.)I was talking Vettes with the VP of my company, and he commented on how much he would like one, "but I would have to win the lottery first" :rolleyes:

Yep, about Corvettes in general, a friend: "They're junk... they're totally impracticle, you can't carry anything in them and they're not really that fast..."

The stupidest thing anyone has said to me is, "Hey is that a corvette", while standing next to the back bumper. "Uh no, its a honda...the new honda civic that says corvette on the back"

Also, one time I was at a gas station when this ricer goes up to me and says "Is that your Corvette" I say yeah, he goes "Do you like it?" I say uh yeah, that's why i bought it. Then he challenges me to a run on the highway. I smoke him, and he does the usual ricer fly-by and gets off at the first exit :rolleyes:

Did those wheels (talking about the A mold, silver wheels) come on all Corvettes? I thought they just came on ZR-1s.

In Oregon we can't pump our own gas... On my way to CA I had a stupid dumbarse gas station attendant tell me how much he loves Vettes, and his Dad owns a '96, blah... blah... He then proceeds to walk around the car 3 times before stopping to ask where the gas tank is!! :rolleyes:
