Like to see a picture of the 55! Just for grins, what kind of gas mileage does that get? Original motor? Quite an interesting pair of vehicles!

Been driving mine daily since I bought it 11 years ago.

The only time I haven't driven it was when I blew the engine up four years ago, but it was back on the road soon after.

I drive mine daily, but my commute is only 2 miles...

I drive it as much as I can... I find it to be great fun...

I 2nd the advice though of keeping the other car and finding a decent Vette for a few $$$...

I got my 1986 with 51,000 miles for $5,000 this past April...

I still have my 2002 Nissan Truck to haul stuff, and just in case...

I drive mine daily and year round.

I bought an 88 A4 because it is fun to drive and gets good mpg for a 100 mile per day commute to work. It even surprised me by doing pretty good in the snow with some Falken 255-50-16 tires. I drove it for about 2 1/2 years.

I got rid of the 88 because I wanted a 6 speed. I got a 94 M6 to replace it and have been driving it every day for about 2 1/2 years. It gets a little better mpg than my 88 did. I average about 28.5 mpg (calculated from the fill-ups, but the dash computer is pretty close) in the (summer) but most of my drive is open highway.

They make the commute to work fun. I really like the on ramps, and on the secondary higways a Corvette makes it easy to pass.

It's about time for me to start looking for my next daily driver. I think I will look for either another C4 (a 94 to 96 M6 in metallic red or blue) or maybe a C5? Who knows? I guess it just depends what I find that I like, condition, and has a good price.

I drive my 95 gran prix daily as my work car, 2001 bonneville as the "good" car, and the vette I try to get into at least twice a week, one of them being to church on sundays In fact today after church I gave a friends wife a "spirited ride" and THIS time I remembered to take the ASR off...made quite a difference. The smile on her face was quite nice to see

Been driving my 95 daily year round since I bought it in march of 05. With the sport seats I think that it's one of the most comfortable cars around.

OK the mileage with the A4 sucks....but the mileage aint why I bought it.

My 93 is a daily driver unless I decide to take one of the bikes to work. Already has high miles on it so I don't worry about that. I let my 06 truck sit in front of the house with it's 21,000 miles. I bought my vette to drive and enjoy.
Most of the miles on my truck were put on before I got the vette. Figure that.

'86 A4 here drive it every day but I do live in hawaii. I do miss having extra seats for going to waikiki but I don't have many friends so it works out I've had everything from a pair of 10's to a welder in the back...yea I'm a redneck but it works. I do wish I gad more room but I plan things out now, can't fill up the shopping cart like I used to stuff won't fit in the car but I know I can fit 2 gallons of milk under my legs for the drive home. Lol

STL94LT1, I am surprised you haven't seen me! I live just down the street in Wentzville and also drive a white C4, but mine is a '91. The last time I was at the dealer out here (they had a great deal on BFG tires last spring with a $50 rebate!), I saw a white '94 in the shop. Was that yours???

My '92 has been a toy since the day it was born; 18,000 miles in 18 years. It looks and drives like a new car. What a waste of a fun-to-drive car. It'll keep wasting away as long as I own it.

I drive mine every day when it's not in winter storage. I'm not getting any younger, so I'm driving that thing after waiting so long to get one. I've found it to be very comfortable, and a great road car for long trips. I do have a backup, though - just bought a new Maxima on Saturday and gave my '04 Maxima to my son, whose car was in need of a lot of repair.

No, my car has never been at the shop, I do my own work. But, I do work in Wentzville at the GM plant and occasionally drive my car to work.
