I like my new C5 but....
I have owned my 2003 Convertible A4 for about a month now. I like it as a cruising/touring car for my wife and I but it just isnt as much fun to drive as my 91 Convertible ZF6. I put the C4 up for sale right after we bought the 2003 until I went for a early morning drive on a cool crisp sunny Sunday morning last week. As I shifted the the ZF6 gears and listened to the Flowmasters while cranking out the tunes on my DD Alpine, I said why am I selling this. I pulled the ad. I just can't let my Baby go.
My wife is OK with it because she realized that the more I drive the C4 she gets to drive the C5 alone. She keeps suggesting we drive both cars to all Club Events. I wonder why? This is the same woman that said she didnt want 2 Corvettes because she wanted us to be driving together. How things change.
We drove both to Corvettes on Woodward last week at the Woodward Dream Cruise. We joined 600 other Vettes Cruise down Woodward.

Good choice. The only thing better than a vette is 2.

I would go that far. We did go with a stock model with the A4 so we can both drive it. I am sure had I bought a C5 ZO6 with a 6 speed I would'nt be looking back at my C4 but we wanted one we could both enjoy. She can drive a stick, she just isnt as comfortable with it.

Speaking of a good woman, she drove the C5 to work the day of the Corvettes on Woodward event. It rained in the morning so she clocked out of work and went outside to dry it off so it would spot then clocked back in. How's that for a woman?

RED UFO can I get your wife to talk to my wife about having 2 vettes? I would like to have a C5 also, but the wife says only one, but we will see who wins out on that one..probably her.. Anyway you have quite a nice looking pair....
