1989 Corvett Fule pump wiring harness inside tank
I get power to the connection on the inside of the fule tank but not to the pump. The wiring harness has a risister or something that the power is not getting through. Do I need a new harness which I am having trouble finding or can I just cut this out and hard wire it?

Sorry I have tried to load pics but no luck. Not that easy.
But there is a something just inside the tank that the power goes into but does not come out the other end.

There's no resistor in the harness that I'm aware of. There's an extra wire to nothing because the '89 was prewired for the LT5. It's shown in the foldout body schematics at the back of FSM. Otherwise, Tan/White powers up the Pump. Check ground. There are two, but one is simply a tank ground to keep static electricity from lighting up fumes when you fill it up.
