Re: The keys are locked in the car.Need help! (stavanger)
I forget what year they went to the FOB - if you have it (in the car), there's a procedure in the owners manual to get into the car (as I recall it involves rocking the car and one or two other things. If I were there I could help you with a coat hanger (use to repossess cars). hope it works out

PKE was first introduced in 1993. If you have a PKE fob locked in your car, you can try the 'ol "rock the car" approach to unlock the doors.
That will not help stavanger, though. My advice would be to contact a locksmith in order to get into the car. You may want to have a spare made up. :D

Write your VIN # down and take it to the dealer, they can cut you a new key.

Find an old antenna mast or other similar rod material. Bend the end into an elbow. Insert it past the window gasket and flick the power door lock switch with the end you bent into an elbow.
I have gotten into mine that way, and it was VERY easy to do. ( your car alarm might go off when you do this. )

The C4s are EASY to break into. Pull the window away from the weatherstripping, get a thin/long stick of some sorts and just hit your power lock on the opposite side. :) I've had to do this to mine too many times at work. :bb

I too have locked them inside. Used a wooden wedge to move the window away from the top .. used a long piece of tubing to reach a window button as my car was running.. you should be able to hit the door lock button the same way..weatherstrip is expensive.. be careful

What I did last time I broke into mine I used a long piece of rebar that I stuck in between the window and the body and it reached across the the pass side and I fliped the power door lock. it was about 6 ft long but it worked!!! :yesnod:

Good lesson to learn here. When you get it open, have a spare door key made and hide it on the car somewhere. This helps when you lock the keys in the car, again. There is a lip on the inside back of the fuel door opening that can hold a key with some double stick tape, or tape it to the inside of one of the rear fenders. :yesnod:

If you call someone with a slimjim...remind them that the lock bar needs to be pushed right to left ...not up like allot of cars.
