Default what kind of car cover should I get?

I dont know if a $100 car cover from pepboys is sufficient or should I look into a "corvette cover" from say Zip-corvette.com like this one:

http://www.zip-corvette.com/ProductD...GR-SR&CTitle=&

Its a LOT more expensive but its "stormproof".. my car will be sitting outside till I can get it in a garage later.

I paid $35 for mine off ebay and it works perfectly. it has already went through the worst stroms.
I think those $200+ covers are a waste of money. JMHO

How long have you had this cover? I would love to see a link to where you bought it, very curious to see how nice a $35 car cover is.

Let us know in a few months if you still like it. I'm also looking for a good outdoor cover to protect against Florida weather and I've seen a lot of strong opinions in this forum about one brand or another.

Negative. I hate it. I have a thread about it, the cover scratched the rear bumper on my car so I dont use a cover anymore...

I have carcovers for 4 sportcars. I kinda hate to use them. You can clean the car and cover it, when you uncover it , it's dirty from dust. My White 90 had a cheap paint job that bubbled after I covered it. So much for that. I have a Vert and if it stays wet you will get mildew stains. PIA to get out. If the wind blows a lot it rubs the paint on the contact points basicly buffing at the paint. If you don't cover it you will suffer the effects of UV light and heat. The best car cover really is a garage, followed by a carport. Wish I had a big garage.
