For some reason that just doesn't look right. I think I'd buy an actual C5. There is an 88 with the C5 kit on it for sale around here. I'm just not too crazy with the conversion.

I think it is the doors, and the wheels look tiny in their wells. Also, the front bumper sticks out in looks like.

Yeah, if it were cheap enough I'd consider it, but I'd probably just buy a C-5. They do look a whole lot better than I thought it would. A non-Corvette guy might be fooled for a little while.

Most of us can tell it's a kit right away. But I have to admit that it looks like a decent conversion. My question is why not just buy a C5? Then again, why even buy a C5?

Can you imagine how utterly worthless a C3 with a C4 body kit would be? This is worse.

only if you drive the car, don't keep it at a constant temperature, or own it very long.

This is awesome... I don't always have to be the first (and only) person in the C5 camp anymore!

I am not looking, I am just asking because of how the guy did the body lines. I have zero interest in making a c4 look like a c5, but I do find it funny people still do it.

penny wise and pound foolish. I can't imagine the hours put in to do that.

perhaps methamphetamine was involved.

but still admire a project completed.

I can respect the craftsmanship that doing it "right" requires, but damn... The rear on those conversions look sooo horrible. I actually saw one in person at a park and for some reason I couldn't help but think the owner was hiding in the bushes looking at the kids... I dunno why.
