Looking for opinion's!

I'm not really a rap fan either, but the decision is up to you! Is it a low budget video? If he's going to be the "next big thing" it would be pretty cool to have your car in the video.

im really 50/50 on it ima tell him to write the song about vette's and ill do it! When i talk to him tonight.
Wanna see what the vette guys think about,
I feel it's a bit disrespectful to a vette because it's a car with the image of rock n roll not rap....

Tell him to stop pursuing that useless garbage, pick up a guitar and make some real music :P
but in all seriousness, it would be pretty cool seing your car in a video if it got big. but in the end it's all up to you

C4s image is currently "trailer park trash." (I hate it but look at a tv show called "The Trailer Park Boys" the guy drives a black C4.) So it can only go up...
That said, what the hell. There are thousands of C4s, if you want it in there go for it. I can guarantee you it isn't going to become the next Escalade...

You might want to say no after looking at the myspace. Now if it was J-ROC asking you then yes. At least he lives in a trailer park(with his mom) but he is better than your buddy.

Well, if you have somebody coming over to offer you $11,000 (according to your for sale ad), I don't see how you're gonna have your vette in a video if somebody else is going to drive it away.
(try to keep track of your lies)

If he is a good friend and its just for fun I say sure, if he is really trying to sell the video and make a career I say no. This could turn into a mockery of the c4 (even further than it is already) as well as its not really the style car people want to see in rap videos. You have a stock 80's sports car, stock classic 80's wheels and all. People usually want to see expensive stuff in videos, big wheels, crazy doors and body kits, new stuff that others dont have access to, unusual custom paint (yes your paint is a rare color for that year on that car but gold is really not that uncommon on cars in general). If he is really trying to make it tell him that car does not have the image/appeal he is looking for. If you are just looking to have a good time and keep it to yourself, and enjoy, do just that.

by the looks of the myspace your friend is def low budget and is not going to make it that is a promise. He wont make a dime off of being a rapper. But a video is cool no matter what make it and put it on you tube for us to see. the more c4 vids on you tube the better!

I say go for it. You're selling it anyways, so maybe, to the right guy, it might mean something and help you sell it.
If the guy makes it someday, you'll be able to have something cool. If he don't make it, nobody will know about it anyway.
No harm, no foul.

Back in 2001 someone approached me about having my 69 coupe in a Hollywood movie. I was hesitant at first but then said "sure, why not". The movie was the chick flick "Riding in Cars with Boys". The car is on screen for all of about 10 seconds but the shoot took all day. It was pretty cool to watch how a movie is shot. The only time I felt uneasy was when the prop man was prepping the car (CT plates and a 1972 inspection sticker) and told me the actor who was going to drive it didn't know how to drive a stick . But I got paid for the use of the car and for my time as well. (If it's a low budget video you probably won't have the great catering companies serving lunch).
Bottom line, even if you don't care for that type of music (I wasn't too thrilled with the movie either) it's still cool to see your car on the screen.
