Default Home paint project, summit paint

Here are some pics of my winter project, being a college student away from home I only get to work on it a couple days a month. Used the new Summit brand acrylic urethane, all additives where also by them as well. Filled in the antenna as I never use it, painted the halo black, car is metallic silver, refinished the wheel wells and underside of the hood. Added custom lighting, hiding wires and switches to the underside of the hood. Also added GS flares and glassed them into the body and color matched Big Mouth air dam. Adding a stripe to each side of the cowl on the hood and the optional clear coat this week. Let me know what you think, more pics when its back together.

That is going to be awesome, I can't wait to see the finished product. I really want to see what you did to the hood.

the wheels in the picture are actually for the front, they where just on the top of the stack and I was lazy. when I put the 17x11's on the back they actually stuck out a good bit maybe due to tire selection or camber, i dont know. Im going to run them with out the spacers until the summer, once everything is back together i'll have a better idea of how much of a spacer I want, if any.

Thanks for all the comments, my father and I are not professional painters by any means, he did some motorcycles when he was younger but nothing recently. All credit goes to him on the actual painting though, I just do the prep and clean up.

Son and I used the Summit packaged paint to shoot his 1987 Bertone X1/9 last summer.
We were very pleased with the product and the results.
We plan on painting his Land Rover Discovery in Rover G4 Challenge livery this summer, the Summit orange paint is pretty close to the official Rover color.

Your project looks great!

Good luck on the antena hole!! that is a hard one to fill right.
I used a ppg primer and a one part paint but you need a good mask
