Cluster bulbs
Decided to replace my 4 cluster bulbs on my 88, any easy way of removing them?
Also I removed the cover plate on the center of the dash, just above the radio, and cluster controls, and I noticed if you reach inside of the vent holes, there seems to be a rectangular filter, dead center of the dash seems quite brittle to the touch, and oily?? What is that for, and is it to be changed, and how??

bulbs just pull off the silver covers on the face of the screen and use some needle nose plyers VERY CAREFULLY to remove and replace the bulbs. I replaced mine with LED's found on ebay. night and day difference.
