What Corvette Events Do You Attend?
What Corvette events do you go to and enjoy? Naturally the CF Cruise-Inn...but how about Mid America Fun Fest, Corvettes at Carlisle? What other events do you go to?

I haven't really had the opportunity to get to a lot of events, but I have been to and enjoyed the Circle City Corvette Caravan from Dothan, AL to Panama City Beach, FL in 2000 and Corvettes on the Coast, which my club (Mississippi Gulf Coast Corvette Club) sponsored.

Mountain cruises
sometimes I'll drop in at a show but my car doesn't get entered. To busy driving to show detail it. :cool:
Plan to make it to BG or Carlisle some day but the races have been eating up trip money for a college student.

I have went to MD Funfest every year since '98. I've been to 3 NCCC conventions over the past 5 years and lots of NCCC regional events. Way too many local shows and such!

MidAm Funfest is a must. I've also gone to Bloomington Gold the last three years. I don't know if I'll go back now it's been moved. I'd like to hit Carlisle and Titusville some day but that will have to till I retire because of the distance.
I'd also love to go the the Forum cruise in but not as long as long as it's on Memorial Day week end. I have other commitments then.

:seeya See me way over here in TX? I don't go to any of these events :cry We will have a corvette museum here in DFW within the next few years though and that should finally attract some bigger events. For now I try to attend most of the CF social events and a very large show called The Classic hosted by a local club.

Local car shows, dinner cruises with the club. The Classic Car Show the club puts on every year. Going to the 2002 kickoff in BG.

Same for me, Carlisle, the drag racing events, the Crab Cruise to Captain Billy's, and now the Rat Pack Hooter Tours....one question, why the hell am I going on a Hooter's Tour!!!?? :confused: That is the last thing I wanna see. :D

super vette saturday ackworth ga, vettefest gatlinburg, vettes at the springs ocala fl, wonderful world of corvettes orlando, champagne show of the south birmingham, mountain city show and drag chattanooga, and 4 or 5 local shows per year. i hope to do 10 + this year.

Those of us on the west coast never make it to Carlisle or Bloomington, but we still have some great events out here "on the frontier". We try to make it to as many local club events as possible in Oregon & Washington, "Thunder in the Mountains" in British Columbia, "VetteFest" in Boise, last year we went to "Vettes on the Rockies" in Colorado, "Black Hills Classic" in So. Dakota to name a few. We joined the Corvette Caravan to Bowling Green in `99 and plan on doing it again in `03.
If anyone is close enough to make the drive, try to make it to "VetteFest" in Boise, Idaho some time. This is a four day event that packs more in than any other event. They have tours, drag racing, autocross, show-n-shine, banquets, parties, etc. They also give away a Corvette every year to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This year you could win a `99 Torch Red Coupe. Great event, great people!

Mid America Designs Funfest was the first Corvette car show I went to , 6300 Corvettes in one place was awesome.Will definatly go back this year and will also go to Bloomington Gold at St. Charles since it is so close. Vettefest was so much fun with entertainment on Sat night and everything being free doesn't hurt either.Great time to be had there.
