Funny, she loves the black wheels now.
But, I really like those black 18" mallet wheels and drilled rotors.... HMMMMMM....

They put a lot of thought and engineering into the driveline of that beast, but good grief. The front nose looks like it was thrown together from a junkyard, and that wing looks ridiculous. If they would have just left the outside alone, that car would be bad to the bone.

Re: Mallett Prepared Twin-Turbo 1991 ZR-1 Corvette (Corvette Kid 92)
Hi Gang,
First Callaway built a Twin Turbo ZR1. Later Lingenfelter built four of them (rumor floating more are coming). Now Mallett boys are starting to build them and who knows how many they put together. Before long, we will have more ZR1 TT on the road than Z06s (stupid-chuckle).
Have a great day,
Stan

Actually that car has been around awhile. It was originally built to win and set a record at the silver stat e classic. They had to have a special windshield installed because the car is supposed to be able to break 250 mph. Who cares what color it is, when your ZR1 or Corvette can do over 250, color is the last thing people are looking at.

The Mallet car was prepared years before LPE made his first of four total. I don't know if Mallet or Callaway was the first, but I think Callaway.
