I want one too. :cry
Be sure to post plenty of "before" pics too. I'm curious to see what sort of "unique" mods the previous owner made. I can't quite visualize them from your brief description.

Someday maybe I'll be so luck. It's a great car !! I saw one here in Houston for sale. $42k with only 700 miles on it. Lots of $$$ but a great car. I hope you post your progress.

Congrats, it is a beautiful car!
Can you elaborate on this? Do you mean the undercarriage or the interior?

Very  ride!!!
Re: the hashmarks, I've heard stories of dealers who had removed them before they sold them. Seems kind of foolish now....

Re: The Grand Sport convertible has arrived!!! (Snowblind)
I'll answer part 2. It cost me $1200 from Salt Lake City, UT to my front door in Marietta GA. :D
Part 1. I paid less than a 40K mile GS coupe. :yesnod:

Ok, it took me a minute to figure out that one. That is a great deal.
What is your recommendation for getting a good buy? Just shop until you get one, keep your emotions out of it?
Since I live about 2 hours away from Roger's Corvettes in Orlando, I have been planning to take a look. But I figure you pay a pretty big premium there. Maybe 5-7 grand.
