I called a no-name towing company and an hour later they dispatched a driver that would make Beavis and Butthead look like brain surgeons.

Anyhow, he flatbedded the car to my house, and even rolled it into a garage stall without destroying anything. The next morning I lifted the hood and started tracing circuits with my FSM. Not fun. A couple of hours into it, the wife came out and brought me a soda. She peeked inside the car and asked me, "would it help if you put it in Park?".

Yes....it did.

That is the FUNNIEST thing I've heard in a long time..

a few weeks ago i was sitting at a light and just had the urge to light them up, I looked both ways an it was clear, just before it turned green a suv pulled up on my left and blocked my vision for a split second, it turned green and down went the foot, tires started spinning and out of the corner of my eye there it was a police car, so i took my foot off right away but too late he saw me. Nice cop said he loved vettes and to be careful. No ticket but a lot of horns honking as they passed.

I'm 18 just bought my 92' lt1 in june, 17 years of age at that time. The ebrake light was broken (always on), the mechanics told me this beofre I bought the car. I drive it home stting on a tool box and high-school yearbook, becuase the seat track was broken. I get home, my dad comes out, also my nosy neighbor, the car smelt like burning metal of some sort. I told my dad the car felt really heavy compared to my old infiniti. I left the parking brake on.

This past spring my son and I went to Home Depot. I'm pretty sure he forgot to lock his door manually in the 85. Came out of the store unlocked my door with the key, opened it and the alarm starts. My mind went blank and I just stood there wondering how do I shut it off!!! My son thinks this is very funny, I didn't.

I didn't panic, but felt like a fool. I fooled around with the key and lock on the drivers door. Then went to his door put the key in to unlock it, but found I actually locked it, it wouldn't open. Unlocked his door with the key and the alarm is still blowing. Back to my door using the key the alarm finally shut up. This whole thing went on for about 2 minutes, but it seemed like an hour.

Everyone was looking at the old guy (me at 54) like I'm going through a second childhood and just bought my first Corvette.

Back when I bought my car about a year ago.. I went to my first local car club meeting all excited to show off my new 84.. The car sounded and ran great. So I pull up "keep in mind its dark outside" I pull up with a big head flip the light switch in to lower the headlight doors... and NOTHING... So I try and play it off and meet alot of new people.. About a hour or so later, I jump back in start her up and of course, the freaking doors close... So, I'm sitting in the middle of a bunch of really nice cars manually rolling the doors back open.. What a night
