My Brother-in-law is getting a 2002 M5 and wants to race my 95 LT-1. I have some bolt ons, and 3:73 gears and exhaust. Do I even want to bother raceing him? Even STOCK TO STOCK does my vette have a chance??? Give me your input forum members :yesnod:

I kept up with one through first gear in my l98. In fact, he even showed up on the forum after i posted about it! But anyway..

Well, M5 and C5 are about even in acceleration, so...

Well I've never had a run in with one in my 95, but in my 93 I was running with a M5 and when he nailed it so did I. He never pulled on me we both let off at about 110mph.
This is my stock LT1 with a 2.59 rear.

My L98 kept up to 120mph, after that it was bye bye M5. :) I was losing ground at about the same rate I do to an M6 C5.

I got no PROBLEMS with Ricers...Type R's integra is quite fast..ive seen it. TWIN TURB charged..hes no joke!!! im not one for rice rockets..but his SH*&%$% is fast :)
