Drove my c4 to Panama City Beach, FL for a weeks vaction last week, seen several vettes from c4 up, waved and got a wave or nod back. Funniest thing is met another c4 that looked identical to mine (White ext., Red/Black int.) and me and the guy pretty much snaped our heads toward each other with a WTH look LOL.

The Wave is dead only if you think it is.
Wave at all Vettes.
If they don't wave back. SO WHAT!?!?!
Those that do wave back will keep it alive

I find the best way to revive the wave in your community is to get a few corvette owners together for food and drinks and get to know each other. That way you aren't just waving at random cars going by you're waving at your friends.

I've owned every generation Corvette in my lifetime from a 1954 in 1959 to a C6. I remember the first wave I got. I was driving a brand new 1968 C3 Convertible. It's some sort of a tradition that's been going on for years. Probably before 1968. I have 4 now C2, C4, C5 and a C6 and I still wave to every Corvette I see. No matter how old or how new the car is.

OK - You beat a horse to make it go. But if it's dead, no amount of beating will make it go again. "Beating a dead horse" means continuing to discuss/debate/argue an issue which has already been examined from every possible point of view. No matter what anyone says on THIS thread, there have been numerous threads in the past with an almost identical question, and the same answers from different people. It's like "BTDT" - Been There Done That. SO it implies there is no point in talking about it any more.
While I agree this one has been well worked over, we gotta remember new people come along (I'm somewhat new myself compared to some on here) and with the constant turnover it's never ending. How many threads have we seen "How do you like my new wheels?" or "How much is my car worth?" or......countless others. I read a lot of them even though we've had similar ones in the past, never know when I'll learn something new.
