Default Radio cut in ant out?? 1993 40th

We finally got the broken speaker fixed, Radio works, sounds coming from all speakers but it seems to cut out sometimes.. Not like turn off like you hear the volume fade low and then come back, its very weird... Any ideas???

Thanks

Just a guess.. Could be the amp at the speaker. I had popping, volume , and distortion at a rear speaker, and replaced the amp. Each Bose speaker has an amp at it, and the Capacitors are known to blow on these. If you know a local electronics guy, he can probably test the amp components. I simply bought a used replacement on ebay.

Not likely to be a speaker amp. Fading could be a lot of things and mostly in the receiver.
