Default will original 1994 rims fit with a j55 Upgrade
I have the 12" rotor setup, do I need to switch rims with the j55 upgrade?

I don't think so. My '90 has the bigger brakes and I'm sure the stock rims were the same with or without the upgrade.

Yes. J55's came standard in 95-96 and used the same front wheels.

You don't need to change rims. The C4 used the same wheels for both the standard and J55 brakes. If you upgrade to C5 brakes you will need either A molds or C5 wheels.
