Those must be Joesroad's pieces - he does very nice work! I've had my eye on them for a while - if I didn't keep getting sidetracked by little things like having to have my engine rebuilt, I'd probably have a set, too!

The link you found looks good , but they don't say (or I missed it) what they are made of. I like the OP's idea of velcro so they can be removed and polished, or put away if need be.
Both sets are nice looking though.

No, mine are permanent. I thought about velcro, but didn't think it would hold up, I just spray em with window cleaner to keep em clean. My FIRST did put a small scratch in the center one , With a stock intake I don't think you'll have any problems.
