[MEA CULPA]My Public Apology to WhiteHorse
If it matters a whit...as I write, at 5:30 pm on the day after the event-
I jumped WhiteHorse without cause. I went back and checked his archived posts to find "his" previous posts that had irritated me, in the past, and I have made the unforgivable error of confusing him with another member.
I am red with shame, and I offer my bare neck for implying that he holds an intolerant, extremist personal political philosophy.
Nothing more I can say...

Mea maxima culpa!
Its encouraging to see someone take a little responsibility for a change. Not making fun of you, but usually its always somnes elses' fault.

Nicely done.
It might be a while before you get to find out if your apology is accepted. WhiteHorse is at 0% for the time being.

Hey, team, thanks, but don't pat me too hard for nobility. It's only the honorable thing to do, the only acceptable thing to do.
- I launched an indirect personal attack without verifying my facts beforehand
- The reason WH is at zero is because he suffered an understandable anger reaction/adrenaline dump due to my accusation and posted under the influence of righteous indignation.
- So that's why it is 'my most grievous fault'.
But the gentleman in question has already mailed me and has been gracious in turn. Being unable to post has left him quite able to read, fortunately.
So now let these topics quietly scroll into oblivion. Fiat. Fiat. Fiat.
(insert silly Italian car joke here.)

It was the right thing to do. And I applaud you for it.
There is so little self responsiblity left today. I hope this is a good trend. It takes a big person to admit they are wrong. It takes an even bigger person to admit it in the glare of the spotlight.

My hat's off to you Matt. It takes a big man/woman to do what you have done. Unfortunately in todays world, there aren't too many who would have done this. :seeya

This is a direct quote from White Horse in response to this post...
I did do something wrong. I hammered him <Sensei> on the forum rather than taking it to email. That was wrong.
  :smash:
