Get a contract with Safety Clean to replace your solvent whenever you want. Or treat it like used oil and buy new solvent where you bought the cleaner.

If you can find a local fuel distributor that will sell direct to the public you can get Varsol or Naptha. It's basically the same thing but much cheaper. The advantage of Safety Kleen is that they are suppose to pick up the dirty solvent but that is why they are more expensive. They have the cost of disposal built in. Thats why we stopped using them. We would buy 500 gallons and so much would evaporate off parts that we would only return 100 gallons.

Used to work for Safety Kleen years ago. All that solvent is is 105 mineral spirits. They have a 140 virgin too. They used to have a minimum 12 week service interval if you owned your own tank and 9 weeks if you leased theirs, but I think now you can call as you need and they will take your old stuff as well. There is also a company here in Chicago that went up against Safety Kleen called Solvent Systems. Not sure if they are nation wide though...

Thanks all,
I am going to the local Saftey Kleen franchise tomorrow to see what I can do--I only use the tank in my Personel garage and the solvent lasts a year or two .
