85 oil pan different?
Why is it different from the other C4's? Mine is in the shop right now having various things done and they are tracking down a knock "somewhere" in rotating assemble (long story). I hold them to replace the pan while they had it off because the plug threads are basically shot.
They can't find a decent 85 pan any where. What makes them different from the other L98 pans?

The pans off a Corvette are different than the regular 350, but either will work up to 1986 (they changed to a one piece rear main seal requiring a different pan) although you would have to reposition the oil pump pickup for the deeper standard pan. The vette pan should work back to 1977 I think.
