any stripes on white car ?
Looking at maybe putting double stripes on my white vette, anyone have any photo's showing different double stripes on white?
I have a blue convert. top, but was thinking something in maybe a silver or light color. I do not want it to stand out, just kind of blend in.
More of a classic look.
Thanks Guys, if anyone has photo shop or maybe just a photo?

stripes
Corvettes are extreemly awesome looking cars that IMHO look better without stripes. The white is a boring color for a vette. You should think about painting your vette a nice color.

I have to agree, stripes don't belong on a Corvette. Specialty versions like the Grand Sport can get away with it. ....I have to disagree on the color White. The first 53 was white and IMO every other year Corvette looks best in white. Only colors I liked better were Marnia or Nassau Blue on the C2. I alway felt the 50 Anniversary should of been white with gold wheels. Or Chevrolet should of dug up the old 1962 Anniversary gold Impala color when they celebrated their 50th year making cars and put it on the 03 C5. My dad owned one of these Impalas brand new back in 62 and was given to me in High School. OK the old man is rambling on.

I agree all the formula USA race cars were white with blue stripes [ 2 ].
Great looking car but I'm thinking 2 stripes just like the factory sponsored race cars back when.
Mine is a 383 and See's duty with a tire change on the road track and the straight line.
Full traction control and traction relocators a tunable rear suspension and a tall gear.
Advantage :Corvette
Hot Rod that just happens to be a sports car !

I don't have pictures of the double stripes (since my car has the reverse GS look), but I think I know what you are referring to; it will look great on a white car given the right color choice; there was a 94 Vette in a past Corvette Fever issue; yellow Vette and the double (black) stripes I think you are referring to; looked great IMO.....

Each to their own mike, some of us love the classic white color. And for stripes, I love the two stripes on crewzin's car, just wondering silver on white. I love every color on a Vette.

Nah I'll stay with the white cars and blue stripes.
I'm not sure which racing venue it is but a 2008 Mustang white w/blue stripes sold last night on B J that was a charity deal and in the scheme complete with all decaling .
I remember the cars just not the venue. I'm more of a straight line Guy but a vette is a true American Sports car and has a great road race heritage that can't be ignored.

Stripes or flames always add at least 30Hp and make it handle better sometimes.
I like stripes. There is a 96 CE around my area with a stripe and it looks good. Don't listen to anybody's opinion. It's your car that you drive so if you like stripes, go for it. I think 99% of C4's I see are all stock so its nice to see a standout.

I've seen a white C4 with silver GS-style stripes and it looked very nice. The interior was black so silver worked with that combination. With other interior colors, you would have to be careful in selecting a good contrasting or complimentary color for a stripe.
Black stripes, IMHO, may look too "busy" on a white car as would red.
A ghost stripe design would look nice too. That would give enough of a hint of stipes but they wouldnt stand out. This could work with silver and blues.
