Default 86 vert Jack point

It seems that the LF jack point is crowded with lines. Is there a difference in jacking a convertible?

No, the pinch weld sticks down much further than the lines. Just stradle the the rocker panel where it says to. It won't hurt anything, I promise. The rocker may move a little, but it won't cause any damage. Trust the manufacturer for the lift points.

Thats where I almost always lift my '86 'vert from. Never any problems, except for some chipped paint on the panel where the arrows are.

well I have a ground effects kit on my vert and I have always lifted it right on the crest of the x brace with no problems not even scraping the paint on it but, then I put in jacke stands on the frame points!
