148K mile bone stock Crossfire. I've owned the car since '97. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to New York and back.

Default Capable of being stock...

While my car doesn't look, sound or smell stock, I've kept everything so that I can bring it back to bone stock with matching numbers if need be. I still "Rock the Crossfire" so to speak but the manifold is modded.

I think the problem with Vettes now is that all of us have them for the pure pleasure of driving them. It will be probably just as rare to find a Bone Stock Crossfire as it will be to find an enthousiast that will want to drive one "for the pure pleasure of it". So the way I figure it, modded crossfires, or crossfires with a little more power will be more enjoyable, so more $$$.

Just my take.

27 MPG? Wow! Do you have any tricks? I'm lucky to get to 22 MPG.

my 84 is still completely stock. Runs great. No problems ,and it's for sale. 23,250 original miles. Had it up to 110 mph. felt like she could do more.

Got my 84 in March of this year. 165K miles, bone stock and it runs great. I get a kick out of all the 84 haters (many times other C4 owners) Maybe someday they will get tired of "trying" to kick us in the nutz but I seriously doubt it cause some people will always be a feces impacted cranium! And they know who they are!

Still running the stock Crossfire in mine also. I added a hyperchip last year and that seemed to perk things up. It also settled down the idle a bit ,before it was up and down.

Dual Carbs=really cool ****!!!

Dual injectors needs to be replaced to be cool.......not.
One carb is not advancing but two is cool?
