Default Anything like Carlisle for the West?

Hey all! Sounds like Carlisle is a great weekend but for those of us on the Western side of the country is there anything similar?

No, not even if you added all the events west of the Mississippi together (for the whole year). As a matter of fact, you could probably total all the events in the world and not equal Carlisle (it's that big).

Well why not ? More vette owners in the east? I would love to go but PA is quite a trip for us.

I forgot who sent this pic to me, but this might give you an idea what it looks like.

For years I went through Carlisle to get to Hamburg, for a different kind of show. NOW I find out that Carlisle has its own attraction. Pennsylvania is a most beautiful state in the fall. That being said, since I'm so much closer to Mid America, in Effingham, IL, anyone go to their event in September? Any opinions? Thanks!

Be sure to Zaino the crap out of your car before you go to Effingham. The ex-cornfield they hold this on is very dusty - especially if you park near the helicopter ride.
Nice show though. Lots of Vettes and MY garage is great!

I am originally from Delaware and did Carlisle for many years. It is a huge show. I've also been to Effingham 3 times at least, but it isn't as big as Carlisle. But at either show there is more to see than you will have time for and I recommend either if you have the opportunity.
