No not black it's a GS. I saw the car in the wal-mart parking lot and it is one bad *** ride. I seen it before some where on the net but the pictures did not due it justice. Just wanted the owner to no how much I liked the car. But it is also good to hear from fellow statesmen.

I've recently added the following Louisiana people to my forum buddy list. I got the names from older threads. Some of them may have moved on to C5-C6's now. If any fun track events come up I plan on PM'ing everyone to let them know about it. You may want to ask some of these members. You can also try the regional forum section but I never check there. Does anyone know of a way to search the member directory only for Louisiana members?

You must be in the BR or NO area if you have seen him running around!
Are you active with any of the corvette clubs around? I am in central LA but am down south every other week, lots of corvette related stuff to get into shoot me a PM or e-mail and I will get you pointed in the right direction.

that was my skunk in the walmart lot. thanks for the compliments if you ever come to the covington area let me know and we'll hook up and go for a ride i didn' see many vettes in the walker area but I see plenty on I-12 between covington and baton rouge. i have met plenty of people on this forum from La. all a good bunch of guys!!!

I see a GS on Veterans every now and then, not sure if thats yours. Look forward to seeing it one of these days. That may have been me at No Problem for one of the Vettes vs Vipers. I went this year and broke down one mile before hitting the track. The trans and TC died. I had to tow it back to Metairie after sitting in ACE's parking lot for over two hours. I'll be there next year again and hopefully a few more track days this summer. If anyone hears of any open track events in the area please post or PM. Beautiful GS you have there.

You are not going to see many in Walker and if you do I am sure it would be lifted with 33" Supper Swampers. I have seen 3 or 4 C5's that is about it.
You won't see mine because it stays in my garage. (work in progress) But I hope to have on the road in the next six monts to split driving time with my F250

Got her for $2000 from some lot about 6 or 7 months ago. So far I had to make new floor boards, new upper and lower ball joints, new steering rack, poly bushings, kyb shocks, ZR1 wheels, new dash, light motors and i just lowered it, cant tell form the pic because it hasnt settled yet, oh yea adressed some break work as well. My wife really hates my car but she hates strippers more. I let her choose where she would like me to spend my spare time.

Your always welcome man just come on by, I also work for Red River Bank on Jackson Ex. so If you are ever around just come in the lobby and tell them to find me. We have a cruise in on the 4th Saturday of each month at the McDonald's on McAuthar Drive it starts about 6:30ish and goes to when ever. You should try to make one.

I think so to but the paint on my car is not to good. looks like a $99 Earl Shibe job. It's peeling and has bubbles every where. I don't think they used a primer/sealer before painting. I am painting all black after i finish every thing else, besides i bought the it to build a track car and have fun not to show.
