I bought my 90 for a great price, needed an interior and cleaning.. but the motor and running gear is solid..
looks like that one might have had a windshield replaced too

The front bumper is scrapped up like it's banged into more than a couple of things. Looks like a decent sized chip out of the trim over the driver's side driving light. With the interior being so beat up for a car with 77k miles and no pics of the engine, it's on a dealer lot, my guess is it's a dog.

I wouldn't walk, I'd RUN away from that car. If someone can't take care of the interior of a car, they probably didn't take care of much else. Pass on that ZR-1.

Ok, I missed that. I still stand by what I posted. Interior that beat up in 77k, and the front bumper chewed up, dealer lot... you can have it.
BTW, did ZR1s have the TPI label on the fender beltline?

my 1990 Z i bought last year was in need of an interior, has slight damage on one 1/4 panel and after i bought it found the hood was repaired. Mine has 60K on it, but a solid runner. but by me looking at the pictures of it, I would have thought differently. Do I regret buying it, nope (my wife probably does though.. LOL)
here was the motor:
and current look:
Whomever buys that car will have to WANT to bring it back to life. again assuming the motor is not beat..
looking at mine you would think it is ragged out, but is not and ran great when I got even with this plug wire:

I have to ask myself one thing. Car dealers are in this to make money. They dont give stuff away because they are just being nice guys and want to share this special deal with someone. Vet-N-Investments values a 1990 Zr1 which needs work or a car below average at $16,000.This car for a 1990 appears to be average or above on the exterior and needs some interior work. Something stinks here.

Assuming it had a clean title and no signs of crash or flood damage, I think that is a decent deal. I will probably have that much into my 86 by the time the new motor is all sorted out.

Hmmmmm..........., from the looks of it, I'd have to say that the previous owner cared about nothing BUT the business end of this car,(only rational explanation for an interior like that) wound her up too high one day, filled it up with gear oil to mask the knock, traded it in, and stuck it in the dealer - broke it off!!
On a serious note, I'd hate to see the look on the new owners face when he fires it up after the first oil change and the "mains" introduce themselves.

There is still 10 days to go on the bidding and $10.5K is only the STARTING price. I would expect that by the time the bidding is over that the car will go for somewhere near its Kelley Blue Book Value of ~18K. The seller also has this warning posted: "I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY AND CANCEL ALL BIDS."

Abused??? Everything looks damn near perfect except for the interior. I'd say that car is in better condition than mine. It wouldnt cost much to fix the interior and someone could turn around and sell that for double.
