Enjoy the car and be SAFE. There are a good many experienced drivers and new drivers that are not with us today because of some foolish decision. If you want to see what she will do when wide open....TAKE IT TO THE TRACK.
Spend the $$ and get a service manual. These cars are expensive to keep up. If your Dad knows cars, you will be ahead of the game. If not, learn as much as you can.

This should end well
Congrats on the car. Be careful with it. You can learn a lot about your car by reading up on the forum, and don't forget to wave to other vettes driving by.

It's going to take a lot of self control not to do stupid **** in the car... I don't know you, but based off your age and the fact this is your first car altogether, I'd say your bound for some lessons soon enough. Have fun though, at least now you should be able to pull more ***...

Man, you have got it made! There are maybe a handful, at best, in your situation. Thank your parents a million times if you have to. Your parents beleive in you and more importantly trust you. This your time to shine on so make 'em proud, - avoid speeding tickets, dont fall to peer pressure when the guys tell you try something stupid. Nice job by the way, keeping your cool when the boys here went to "test your chest".
Keep those grades up too!
Did I mention you are one LUCKY kid?

good luck be carefull when I was 18 I had a formula with a 455 had alot of fun but kept my cool. at 19 I had a 72 nova ss beautiful car also never had an accident. still haven't had a ticket at 41 years sounds like someone else around here wasn't a very good driver. But his grammar is correct.
