Default New Paint

I picked it up fro the painter last night, so here are a few pictures:

I had him skip painting the front bumper, the bra is staying on.

Beautiful!!

Looks like I wasn't the only one in the paint shop last week.

Careful with that bra. The one I had rubbed some of the clear off the bumper after several weeks of driving. I had it on good and snug too.

Now it's hanging in the garage.

Seriously...get that bra off of there!! Look into the 3M Clear Bra (I have it) if you want paint protection.

It may just be me, but I'd paint the nose and can the bra. Looks good otherwise though :-)

The paint looks great. I actually think the bra blends well with the black. Wish I'd gotten one years ago.

Honestly I would lose the bra. I think bras kill the looks of the car.

The rest of the car looks great. Why did you decide not to paint the nose?

Because I drive it everyday, no matter the weather. Too dang many bugs and crud ding the bumper up. Later, when the bra is beat up it will come off and the bumper will get painted. Black is easy to match, so it won't be any problem for later.

so you are keeping the bra on to protect the old paint, so when you take the bra off you can have it repainted?
