Default Torque Converter and Trans Rebuild Kit. Pics

I just got these today. Anyone know anything about transmission parts that wants to identify or comment? The rebuild kit is supposed to handle up to 675hp. http://www.700r4l60e.com/

Looks like it'll really be built -- well, as much as you can build the 700R4/4L60 up. I know I priced out some of those parts last year and was blown away with some of the costs.

Oh, and cute converter.

Thats not too bad all things considered. Gonna be one stout transmission when you're done.

Were you already running a Vigilante TC?

No, I bought a TCI 2800 for it before I knew that they weren't any good. It was installed with the last transmission rebuild in 2005. The torque converter and the transmission died on me again about two weeks ago on the way to the track.

You're a brave guy. I don't know near enough to go messing with the guts of a transmission. Hats off to you and good luck.

Not that brave. I'm leaving this one up to a local transmission shop. If it wasn't my daily driver I would definately do it myslef though. Looks like a fun project and I love working on stuff like this.
