Re: Low mileage original owners? How low? (speedy-gonzalez)
I'm the second owner of mine, and it has only 25,000 miles on it.
I think that is low for a 94. So I will fix the first guy's error and drive the
heck out of it now - heh heh.

Not the original owner. Bought my 89 in 91 with around 5700 miles on it. It now has around 13,400. Who wants to be the first to tell me to drive the thing? :D

Purchased my 96 car new in Sep 95, just turned 19,000 miles. Except for the dreaded waterpump, all o.k. Mostly highway miles, two trips to BG from South Florida. :) :)

Technically I'm the 5th owner, but the four previous owners were all in the same family and the car just kept getting passed on due to deaths in the family. It's an 84 with just under 25k miles.

Re: Low mileage original owners? How low? (Cigarman)
I got my 1996 with exactly 10,000 miles on it. I got it in August of last year. Now I have 14,000. miles on it. I know, I know, I need to drive it more. But when you have a company car assigned to you it's hard to put the milage on it. Hey, my gas bill is low. :)

Second owner (third if you count the guy who didn't register it). 93 Ruby had 9700 when I bought it in Aug 98, now has 32K. I love driving it.

I bought my '70 from the original woman owner with 44k miles. It's now got almost 56k! On the other hand my '87 has been around the block a few times. Bought that one with '98k miles - now it has 108k. :D I feel sorry for the cars who have almost no miles on them. They're lonely and unloved. Just think how sad they must be having thought while going down the assembly line about what a great life they're going to have, when instead all they've done is just sit there. :( ~Juliet
