Why C4 is such a attractive car?

Being a retired pilot, I equate the feel of the C4 to a fighter type aircraft. It's a nice firm fit and everything is placed so you can touch or see what you need while driving. Riding only about 12" or so above the ground gives you the feel of a low level run on a bomb run. Most other cars you get into and strap in, with the C4, you feel as though you strap it on. As far as looks, just step back and look at the lines, clean and slick. Yes, I love the C4.

It's a sleek, elegant shape that I never tire of. You don't realize just how low you are until you go to a drive-up window at a fast-food joint
I also like the interior lighting at night, particularly the door lights and the little light that shines down from the rear-view mirror.

Gov't regulate gone crazy. It was reversed but it was too late for the C4 design.
The C4 is a beautiful Corvette with aggressive but not flashy lines. It's a car you put on - not sit in. The seats are some of the best ever in a Corvette, the clamshell hood is one of the best hoods on a Corvette and these cars are some of the best looking from the rear - or any other angle.

It's low to the ground, has a long hood, a short rear deck, abrupt cutoff with that kamm tail. It just looks fast. It's also fairly wide compared to the length, and in person is quite curvy. Though in photos it looks pretty flat.
It's classic sports car style.

I like driving it on long 200+ mile trips on long 2 lane roads.
I like that i dont see any other cars like mine.
I dont like how some people disrepect me cause im driving a vette.
I dont like having to explain it, or why i have it, to people who wouldnt talk to me otherwise.
2 for 2 's a keeper

Love the digital dash, the looks of the L98, the hood, the round taillights with the exhaust coming out right underneath. When your driving it, even on a bad day, everything seems OK for a while

I love the seats, the way they prevent you from moving around when you hug a curve, at speeds no other car should try at.
I love how though even though I drive her a bit fast she doesnt steal all my gas.
Speaking of gas, I love the middle tank, makes filling up so much easier cause you can pull in anywhere!
I love her removable top; Its like a convertible but still keeps you warm in the winter and no jerk can rip a hole in the top.
As sad as i get, when I see my dad drive her down the road, I still love how she looks as she goes down it.
I love the friendlyness of vette drivers. 98% of people i've met have waved at me. And its across all age groups.
One thing i don't like is the location of the heater core, but beyond that i'm in love again

Objectively it is simply a brilliant design -- from its debut in 1983 the C4 was an affordable exotic and remained competitive throughout its run.
It attracted me in 2005 because the LT1 is cheap thrills -- 300HP, great handling, targa top, incredible seats, etc. And all for $11K when I bought it, and probably $9K now. Even 3 years later I often turn around to check it out after I park it -- that's attractive....

A. I like the fact that it looks good from every angle. With the C5 and defiantly the C6...there are angles where the car looks like crap.
B. Like everyone, the clamshell hood gives it a race car appeal.
C. The interior had very little commonality with the current cars of the time, unlike the C5 which had a rental car interior and the C6 which can barley match the C4 interior.
D. It is a tight package that is more like a race car.
