This probably wont be the answer youre looking for, but when it comes to weather stripping, go with GM. Its not the "cheap" choice by far, however it fits like its supposed to. I have used other "top brands" in the aftermarket and always had fitment problems. Sometimes the length is incorrect, sometimes the locator pins dont line up with the holes in the body, sometimes once installed, the window or door is very difficult to close etc. When I used the GM originals, everything went smoothly.

Good Luck

I just got the 7 piece kit from Willcox for a forum price of $360. Haven't installed it yet but it looks excellent. The GM kit is well over $1.000.

GM = correct fit , no leaks. Aftermarket = wrong fit, leaks, and a headache on why you didnt get the GM in the first place.....G

www.corvette-rubber.com
They make a lot of weatherstripping for GM. Used it in the past on my 93. Had great results.

Don't go cheap on weatherstripping. It will only give you problems. Wilcox is a good brand and I would buy again. Other than that, get GM.

This is why it makes little sense to pay three times as much for GM weatherstriping, its not made by GM its made by other companies for GM to there specs. Corvette Rubber Company is the brand that Wilcox sells and the brand used by GM for some of there weatherstriping.

Please be aware that "cheap" and "good weatherstripping" do not belong in the same sentence. Once you replace the rubber material, you will find out that it is not as easy as it first apprears. I am one of those who has to learn things the hard way......and now I only buy GM weatherstripping. Don't buy it retail from a dealer. Instead, there are web sites that will give you a discount on GM parts. Superior Chevy also gives good discounts to forum members.
