Might sound crazy, but I used the plastic license plate screw retainers in the little "help" packages.

They clip in the slots just fine. All you need to do is make sure your screws line up with them; just takes a little peeking behind the carpet.

Try your local auto paint shop. I can buy them by the box (50) at mine. Very reasonable. I replaced many of them in my doors. Go through GM dealer if you want to get raped. I believe a box is around 10.00 or 15.00. If you can't find them, pm me and I will see what I can do.

I think these are the oval ones. I've had luck with switching them around or turning them over. This gives the screw new plastic to screw into. Often the screws don't go into the middle of the plastic. Turning them over or swapping them with another often fixes the problem. I believe they are call bathtub nuts.

That package of 50 sounds like exactly what I need.

Each door contains a total of 12.

The corvette uses theese widely through out the vehicle. IM also going to need them for the rocker pannel under the door.

I dont want to wayste my time with old one, and new ones will only keep her nice and tight

Any ways Ill gues ill check with GM, and a local body shop, but im sure all they will lcare about is making money.

If any one else has a source for this box of 50 let me know

Thanks Dan

Well its clear no one has any use full info here.

I guess Ill check with GM, then a local body shop.

Ill weigh my options with the auto zone, and Mid America kit.

But I must say That 50 pack sounds like what I need. And I wish I could get the parts from gm online aswell.

Maybee Ill get my hands on the 50 packs and start selling em on ebay ?

Any ways, if any one has more info I would appreciate it.
