How many of you drive your vettes in the winter?
I do since it's my only car but this is my first winter with it.
Hope it hold out okay.
Any preparations you guys recommend with getting it ready for those cold days ahead other then basic maintenance?

No storage for me! I don't drive it when the roads are snowcovered - fear of idiots. But otherwise it gets driven to work at least twice per week. And any excuse for a trip on the weekends.

Well, I just put a new auto tranny in, new paint ,upolstery, and tailpipes. I specificly bought mine for driving in town and winter as a daily driver. Not on snow or ice though, Ill use my minivan in that. :yesnod:

I gotta cover mine up in the winter. i wouldn't wanna expose it to the elements. I start it up every couple of months though, to keep the fluids circulating.

I've driven mine in snow and ice, it ain't a pretty sight but it can be done.
As far as exposing it to the elements, hey you gotta wash it anyway, so what the hell.
Just make sure you have a decent set of tires all the way around and you should be fine.

Driving during a snow/rain storm is hellish, but with a good set of snow tires (blizzaks) you should be okay. When I get a replacement it will be my daily driver, and I live in Chicago.
