A rather silly poll re/ LT1 muffler tips
I recently got another set of LT1 tips which I'll likely sell eventually. One has had the paint removed and the other either needs to have or to be repainted. If you were buying some of these to add to your exhaust set-up, would you prefer them polished or painted back to black, as they came from the factory? The winning poll count for either option is how I'll prepare them for sale.

I like the LT1 tips painted black. The polished aftermarket LT1 tips just never did much for me.
With that being said though, I like the Corsa and BB polished tips. So, it's not that I don't like polished.

I think the stock tips fit nicely, and go with a "stealth" theme. If you want bling, then the aftermarket like Corsa and BB look great.

Hi Chris,
I just had a set of LT1 tips powder coated in the chrome like silver. I'll be putting them back on my muffler eliminator cat back. They look pretty good, not as good as my B&B tips though.
Then again, you can't go wrong with black.

I would vote for polished on a dark car and the black on any that are light. I painted the ones on mine black. (:

I had to actually think about this a minute as I have muffler elims with stock black tips. I like them, but have always wanted the polished Corsa look!!

I almost forgot about this stupid thread. Anyone else wanna get in on it? There are still a few days of voting left. So far the polishers are ahead by about a 4 to 3 margin. Come on painters, catch up! Otherwise those bastards are going to make me do more work before I sell them!

CK, I painted my mufflers black and tips black when I had my 95. It was black on black with black ZR1 rims and had a slight window tint. I always got complements on the car and even the exhaust due to its stealth approach.
I vote black on black cars and chrome or polished on white or lighter colored cars.

I'd love to see how they look. I've thought about Corsa but I really like the way the stock tips and pipes look. If I went Corsa I probably would have painted the tips and cans black.

You didn't give an option for both.
