Did you have a shop make a custom system to use the stock resonator and eliminate the cats, all while working with EM LT and the magnaflow mufflers? Im looking into similar setup as well.

If so, how much did the labor end up costing?

I just bought EM's header extensions (w/o cats) and had them welded to my stock setup & back to my Magnaflows. Not much $ at all.

I guess it would be a waste to get bassani, borla or corsa for $1,000 + When the magnaflow is $399 retail. You can also get exhaust really cheap at www.completeexhaust.com. Probally be giving them a call

I understand the Magnaflow sound and like it, but there will be some resonance. Too much? Only you can determine that.
I've had magnaflows on my 1996 LT4 for nearly 2yrs now and can report that there's no discernible resonance.

Hey Hogan, are you a big Bobby Kennedy fan?

Other than the magnas aft (w/o x-pipe), only two very mild ones under the hood - an open air box (w/AC Delco paper filter) and a red Granatelli MAF. No headers.
