I spend too much time on here and working on my 85. The other day my says, "honey, we would save a lot of money if you sold your tools."

Selling your tools will only save money if you spend money on modifications, but when it comes time to repair one of your cars and you can do it yourself, those tools not only get paid for, but they save you a lot of money!

I keep my 84 at my dads house. So on the weekends she gets her alone time and my parents get to see there grand kids. Plus I get free dinner.

My car is still referred to (by the wife) as that thing in the garage. Every time she starts, I tell her I'll sell it, convert my earnings into singles, and head down to the Bada Bing That usually works for a week or so

My fiance says I'm a nerd because of my obsession with MY CORVETTE!

Since when did an interest in cars make me a NERD??!!!

So whenever she says that, I just break out my laptop and off to the Corvette Forum I go!

Wifey hates the car when I work on it or even just wash it. Loves it when were driving it. I have to remind her that beer and working on cars keep me home and happy!

She reminds me that one day she will sew me in between the bed sheets and beat me with a fring pan...

I'll wash your car next Poopy.......

Wow, is there really that much here to spend more then 15 minutes a day reading?

If you are spending more time then that, then I would tend to agree with the ol lady and find something else to do. If you spend that or less on here, then she's crazy controlling and you need to get away from that as fast as you can. Lucky for you, your Corvette can get you away a tad faster then most other cars.

My wife just noticed for the first time that I've been checking out the posts here. She was doing a little shoulder surfing. Anyway, she asked what I was doing so I told her. She shook her head, smiled, and walked away. I think I'm in the clear. She's got forums she likes to check out as well though. Plus, there are plenty of worse things I could be doing.

My Wife told me about this forum about 4 months ago and it has saved me hours of surfing for info and parts. Yes I am here about 2 hours a day, and everyday I learn something and a few times I have given advice that worked. All in all not a bad hobby. She did say she created a obsession for me.
