I noticed it had touch up paint on a few spots, the clear coat was peeling in a spot and there was a hole in the carpet among other things that it needed. Also the tires were pretty worn.

Then the seller (private party) wanted sales tax etc... That drove the price up to $6200.

So I'm still looking. If anyone sees a red 88 or 89 for sale please let me know.
Move on you can find a even better car and ZR1Fred is right it is a buyers market out there.

That's a pretty fair price @ $6k in nice shape.

No, those weren't the stock wheels.

There'll be another one along soon.

Here's what $6100 got me 3 winters ago near Baltimore.

'88 Z52 A4 88k miles.

I think 5500.00 is a very decent price! Good luck!

There is no private party sales tax in Cal. DMV charges that when you register it.

I went and bought this 1990 today for $5500. Excellent black interior, nice paint, 700r4. I was avoiding '90s because I hated the newer dash, but after seeing it in person I absolutely love it now.

Here are a few pics the seller took.

Now you get to start fixing things as they break!
The antenna should have gone down.

Great buy. I do not see how you could possibly be disappointed.

Now drive it!

The antenna works... The headlights don't.

Thanks.

Here is a picture I took today.

I also found out the hard way that the car came with a factory alarm. It took me ten minutes to find out how to shut it off. I think I lost some of my hearing from that......

Mines a 90 too....Same car, but mines a stick.

PM me if you have any problems, I've already broken and fixed everything at least once...

BTW, tinting the front and side markers looks great, That's the only thing I've done since I took these pics.
