Im 55, retired, and got my 89 as a project. I have 2 other cars a (2000 Monte Carlo SS) and a Ford F150 , but I can't seem to stay out of the vette. I always wanted one when I was younger but couldn't afford the insurance. Now that I have one Im in it ever day ,always looking for a reason to go out, and never listen to that little voice saying,( Take one of the other cars don't burn out the vette). So what was bought as a weekend car is now a DD. I can't stay away from it, I THINK I NEED HELP!!!!!!

Quite a common occurence. I've put 3K miles on the Neon daily driver and 32K miles combined on first the 96 LT1 and then its LT4 replacement in the five years I've owned them. Most of the miles on the C4s have been pretty much racked up driving nowhere in particular...

I gotta 1999 caddy seville as a DD as well as a 94 mazda 929, a 89 F-150 4x4 for winter driving and a utility hauler, then my dads 84 Vette. It's only got a bit over 32,000 miles on it and it's in cherry shape so we keep it garaged and only drive it on nice days. Then there's a '64 Mooney Ranger I've resored. What can I say, I like airplanes too.

My '89 is my daily driver.Ran my '87 to 167,000 and sold it.This one has 117,000. My'56 has 31,000.NOT daily driven. The C4 to me is a great everyday car and nice driver can be found cheap.

drive to work everyday
a small rubbermaid tote makes a dandy trunk for hauling tools
i've also had 5 bags of wood pellets in the rear(extra weight in the rear when it snows)
If the snow flies a bit too much I have an old subaru to go sledding with

Mine is at Precision Motive for now getting some mods done, see signature for details. They finished the engine, tranny and exhaust so I got to take it out for a 2 hour run yesterday... Got-ta-tell-ya I didn't want to take it back, but I really want the new Suspension system so I gave it up for a few more weeks... Any way, I don't believe in just looking at my toy's, I love my vette, so HELL YES it's my daily driver...
